Delivery

In-stock items will be packaged and sent to shipping within 5 working days of placing the order.  We typically carry a limited supply of in-stock items.

Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for out-of-stock and special order items. During this time, your knob will will be hand made.  We will machine the brass threads or aluminum spline mount, mix the colors, pour the molds, grind, sand, buff, and polish the knob for a glass-smooth finish.  [back to top]

 

Shipping

All orders shipped to U.S. addresses, post office boxes, and military addresses are delivered by the United States Postal Service (USPS).  We offer several options during the checkout process, as follows:

First Class Mail Service

The USPS First-Class Mail is a fast and affordable service for envelopes and packages weighing up to 13 oz.  Delivery is in 3 days or less.

Priority Mail Flat Rate Service

The USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate service is a faster service for envelopes and packages with no weight restrictions.  Delivery is in about 2 days.

Express Mail Flat Rate Service

The USPS Express Mail Flat Rate service is the fastest service for envelopes and packages with no weight restrictions.  Delivery is overnight to most U.S. addresses, including post office boxes and military addresses.  [back to top]

 

International Shipping

All orders shipped internationally are delivered by the United States Postal Service (USPS).  We offer several options during the checkout process, as follows:

Priority Mail International Service

The USPS Priority Mail International service is a reliable way to send mail and packages up to 70 lbs to over 180 countries.  Delivery is in 6 to 10 days.

Priority Mail International Flat Rate Service

The USPS Priority Mail International Flat Rate service is a reliable way to send large and medium flat rate boxes up to 20 lbs, and the flat rate envelopes and small flat rate boxes, up to 4 lbs to over 180 countries.  Delivery is in 6 to 10 days.

Express Mail International Flat Rate Service

The USPS Express Mail International Flat Rate service is the fastest way to send large and medium flat rate boxes up to 20 lbs, and the flat rate envelopes and small flat rate boxes, up to 4 lbs to over 180 countries.  Delivery is in 3 to 5 days.  [back to top]

We accept personal checks, money orders, cashiers checks, VISA credit cards, and MasterCard credit cards (in U.S. currency only).

Taxes

Pennsylvania residences must pay a sales tax equivalent to 6% of the total order of the merchandise.  If you live in any other state in the USA, you do not have to pay taxes on the order.

Special Charges

Additional charges may apply in certain situations, such as:

  • 1.  Knobs ordered with special colors or color combinations.
  • 2.  Knobs that require special configurations to fit non-starndard shift levers.

Return Policy

If you are not completely satisfied with the quality of your shift knob by Flameball™, you may return it within 14 days of purchase for a full refund of the purchase price, excluding shipping and handling costs. The knob must be unused, uninstalled, and in the original undamaged packaging. Please follow the steps below:

  • Step 1.  Email returns@flameball.com or call 1-814-378-6157 for an authorization number.
  • Step 2.  Make a copy of your original invoice.
  • Step 3.  Return item, copy of original invoice, and authorization number (with postage paid) to:

Limited Warranty

Central Manufacturing Company warrants each shift knob product against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 60 days from the date of purchase. Warranty is limited to replacement or full refund of purchase price only (excluding shipping costs) at the discretion of Central Manufacturing Company.

Since Central Manufacturing Company cannot control the installation of the shift knob, Central Manufacturing Company accepts no liability or responsibility for any claims regarding:

  • 1.  Malfunction of any vehicle system allegedly caused by the installation of the shift knob.
  • 2.  Damage to the shift knob or the factory shifter assembly.
  • 3.  Consequential or indirect damages as a result of improper installation.

 

The Central Manufacturing Company shift knob is intended for show cars, off road use, and normal driving conditions.  Do not use for racing or power shifting.  Do not use on a speed shifter or power shifter of any kind. Please check with local laws before installing.

Central Manufacturing Company shift knobs are tested and found to be fully satisfactory when shipped.
